Since the beginning of 2020, the novel coronavirus epidemic has spread throughout China. Its characteristics include wide transmission routes and rapid transmission speed, making isolation and control of transmission crucial to winning the fight against the epidemic. As an essential vertical transportation tool used daily by large numbers of people, elevators are also one of the key transmission sites for the novel coronavirus, making elevator disinfection particularly important.
To this end, Yongri Elevator has added a new epidemic prevention function to its products: ultraviolet disinfection. Studies have shown that ultraviolet light mainly kills microorganisms by damaging and destroying the nucleic acid function of microorganisms (bacteria, viruses, spores, etc.), thus achieving disinfection. This function should have a certain preventive effect against the novel coronavirus. Yongri Elevator has equipped its medical elevators with automatic ultraviolet disinfection functions for many years. In addition, Yongri Elevator has launched a touch-free voice floor selection function, considering the characteristics of people riding elevators, to avoid contamination from multiple people touching elevator buttons. Now, in response to the novel coronavirus, Yongri Elevator is launching this function to better improve cabin hygiene and safety, contributing the responsibility of elevator people to fight against this novel coronavirus epidemic.
